I'm a knitting book monster!

I've become a knitting book monster. But the best part, it's free! Yay for public libraries and inter-library loan. And I love that I can request books online. So I go to amazon and see what looks good or what was purchased by others, etc and then go to my library's site and request the books. I've picked up two already, another is waiting for me, and I have 9 others on request.

Then I get the job of copying all the patterns so that I can actually make some of these projects when I get the time. I was lokoing through one book last night, and there were so many projects that I liked. I think I might be knitting myself a hoodie sometime soon!

  • Knit one, felt too : discover the magic of knitted felt with 25 easy patterns / Kathleen Taylor.
  • Nicky Epstein's knitted flowers / photography by Jennifer Levy.
  • Oneskein : 30 quick projects to knit and crochet / Leigh Radford
  • Knitting never felt better
  • Knitted toys : 25 fresh and fabulous designs / ZoĆ« Mellor. (Recommended by Donna Downey)
  • Vogue knitting felting.
  • Pursenality plus : 20 new felted bags / Eva Wiechmann.
  • Bags : a knitter's dozen.
  • Last-minute knitted gifts / Joelle Hoverson

And a non-knitting book on hold…

  • The Thru-hiker's handbook.
Yikes, that's a lot of books!

Who needs a library? I've gotten tons of free patterns online from yarn websites, like lionbrand.com and bernat.com.
