Challenge Revisited

A couple of weeks ago I gave Christy the challenge to do a layout of 10 things she loved. So, I've been mulling that over for a bit now and here's my take on it. 5 points to the first person who can identify the inspiration for my journaling style. This font's a little funky. I don't like how the "b"s look like "p"s, but otherwise I like it so I decided to use it anyway.

OOooh what a pretty layout. I love how you sewed your prima flowers around your other flower.

And my top 10 reasons to love spring would be almost identical.

The journaling/font inspiration? I'll have to mull that one over.

We still on for Saturday?

Love the layout. The paper is gorgeous. I thought at first it was Chatter but realized no that's Sweet. Perfect choice and finally someone keeping up with these challenges. It's okay that you changed it to spring. I think it's a good idea. As for the journaling style hmmm I'm not sure. I'll go look again and think on it!

is it Ali Edwards. She has a lot of things that she loves that she talks about?

Chris said...

Nope. Not Ali Edwards. Chris got it right away, and I imagine if Andrew were to read it he would as well. It's from a movie that I like/love.
"There's a difference between like and love. I like my Sketchers, but I love my Prada backpack."
That a good enough clue for you?

Clueless

Not Clueless. It's more modern than that. However, like Clueless, it is a modern-day interpretation of a classic story.

10 things I love about you

Man it's on the tip of my tongue.

10 things I *hate* about you

And after chatting with Mel about it I of course had to listen to the soundtrack. Love those songs. And I'm tempted to watch the movie again, but I think I only have it on VHS which doesn't help me with watching while scrapping since that TV has a DVD.

So did Mel get it? I guess it wasn't on the tip of my tongue as much as I thought...I wasn't thinking of that movie.

Mel gave the answer here, but I had given the answer to her over IM, so I don't think it really counts.

Anyway, there's a poem that Kat writes which is what I tried to model it after. Chris got it right away, but I've tortured him with watching the movie many times. So I think now you both need to go watch it.
